Massachusetts psychiatrist Yefim Magitsky surrenders license; licensing board alleged sex with patients

On July 23, 2007, Massachusetts psychiatrist Yefim Magitsky voluntarily agreed to cease practicing medicine. The state has not as yet provided any information as to the charges or proposed discipline against Dr. Magitsky that resulted in this agreement. However, in November 2003, the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine (“Board”) issued a Statement of Allegations against Dr. Magitsky for engaging in sexual misconduct with two patients. ¹
