US Attorney Files Complaint against New Mexico Psychologist Rick Q. Wilson for Controlled Substance Prescribing

The United States has filed a civil complaint in federal court alleging that a New Mexico psychologist unlawfully prescribed controlled substances without a legitimate medical purpose, in violation of the Controlled Substances Act.

In a complaint filed in federal court, the United States alleges that Rick Q. Wilson, aka Henry Quintero, prescribed large volumes of benzodiazepines and other controlled substances without a legitimate medical purpose and outside the usual course of professional practice, often without adequate examinations, diagnoses, or treatment.
