New Jersey Medical Board Suspends License of Psychiatrist David Holbrook after Suspension of DEA Registration

On August 26, 2024, the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners issued an Interim Consent Order against Lebanon, NJ psychiatrist David V. Holbrook, temporarily suspending his license.
According to the Board’s document, the order was issued “upon receipt of information that…Holbrook…on or about March 27, 2023, surrendered his Drug Enforcement Administration Controlled Dangerous Substances registration. The DEA alleged, and Respondent denied, that he failed to comply with Federal requirements pertaining to controlled dangerous substances.”
The Board’s document continues: “If the DEA allegations are proven, such conduct may provide grounds for discipline under the Uniform Enforcement Act.”
As of the publishing of this article, Dr. Holbrook’s license remains suspended.
