Michigan Community Raises Concerns About Police Participating in "Killology" Training Led by Psychologist Dave Grossman

JACKSON COUNTY, MI — Some Jackson County residents have raised concerns after local law enforcement agencies participated in an event led by controversial law enforcement trainer Dave Grossman.

The Southern Michigan Criminal Justice Training Consortium — a collaborative of more than 20 law enforcement agencies, including several in Jackson County — organized the training Friday, June 27 at Jackson College.

The training promotes a dangerous mindset, and puts the public and police at a greater risk, Summit Township resident Amador Ybarra argued during a Tuesday, July 22 Jackson County Board of Commissioners meeting.
