Prosecutor Seeks Alcohol Ban on Arkansas Psychiatrist Brian Hyatt, While Out on Bail Facing Medicaid Fraud Charges

PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. — The special prosecutor in the Medicaid fraud case against former Rogers psychiatrist Brian Hyatt is requesting that the defendant be banned from drinking alcohol as part of his release conditions.

Hyatt, who is charged with two felony counts of Medicaid fraud in Pulaski County, was initially released from custody on a $15,000 bond.

However, the prosecutor in the case said two recent incidents involving Hyatt's alleged public intoxication prompted a new look at his conditions of release.
