Wisconsin Psychiatrist Michael Bohn Loses Job, Surrenders License over Complaints of Sexual Language with Patients
June 15, 2022
On January 20, 2021, the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board ordered that the license of Milwaukee psychiatrist Michael Bohn be surrendered.
In 2018, the Milwaukee facility where Bohn was employed as Chief Medical Officer received multiple patient complaints alleging that he used inappropriate romantic and/or sexual language during treatment sessions. There were no allegations of inappropriate touching. However, similar complaints were received and investigated by the facility prior to 2018 which resulted in corrective action directed at his conduct. The facility informed him that he was relieved of his duties as Chief Medical Officer due to an investigation into patient concerns. He resigned his position effective January 14, 2019.
