I was appalled at how pt are treated . The lack of care and it was constantly encouraged for pt to be readmitted within hours at times just for money. Pt were not given treatment or changes when needed. Treated as if they are subhuman , rights violated constantly . Admission criteria was often fabricated so they could be admitted . The pt would be listed as homicidal and suicidal and upon arrival on unit we would find this untrue.
