Washington Psychologist Lynette D. Pullmann Suspended for Sexual Misconduct

On January 9, 2020, the Washington Department of Health (“Department”) suspended the license of psychologist Lynette D. Pullmann indefinitely after finding her guilty of unprofessional conduct. The Department found specifically that she committed sexual misconduct and also misrepresented facts to the Department during its investigation.  

From approximately June 2017 through April 2018, Pullmann provided psychological services to Client A in Seattle, Washington.

In approximately April 2018, Pullmann and Client A discussed having romantic feelings for each other and discussed terminating psychological services. Pullmann terminated the psychological relationship and immediately entered a romantic dating relationship with Client A.

In December 2018. a Department investigator sent a letter of cooperation and request for records in this matter. In her written response, Pullmann stated she had never provided psychological services to Client A. Pullmann stated that patient records could not be produced as none existed.

On February 4,2019, the investigator conducted an in-person interview of Pullmann. Initially, she reiterated that she never provided psychological services to Client A. However, in the course, of the interview, Pullmann admitted she had lied and that Client A had been a patient of her practice beginning in approximately June 2017.

Pullmann later provided patient records for Client A.
