Utah social worker disciplinary actions, Sept.-Oct. 2013

December 2, 2013

On September 12, 2013, the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (Division) extended a previously ordered probationary period on marriage and family therapist Lawrence Alan Bradley, who violated probationary conditions that existed on his license when he took copyrighted proprietary written materials from his employer without authorization or permission to do so. His probationary period was extended by two years.

On September 12, 2013, the Division revoked the license of clinical mental health counselor Lane Cannon Porter for unprofessional and unlawful conduct. The Division stayed revocation and placed Porter on probation for three years with conditions and restrictions.

On October 18, 2013, the Division ordered that associate clinical mental health counselor Gregory Lee Hood continue to be subjected to probation conditions and restrictions which were imposed upon him in October 2011, for an additional 18 months. The Division’s document states that Hood failed to comply with the conditions imposed upon him and the misrepresented himself as a licensed professional counselor (which he is not). The Division also required him to pay a $500 fine by 2/1/2014.
