Utah Psychologist Robert Dindinger Pleads Guilty to Sexual Exploitation of a Minor

Former Utah psychologist Robert Virgil Dindinger pleaded guilty on Dec. 3, 2025, to two second-degree felony counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and one misdemeanor voyeurism charge after being initially charged with 12 offenses, including ten felonies. Despite felonies carrying up to 15 years each, prosecutors recommended 364 days in jail and 48 months of probation, meaning Dindinger—already jailed seven months—could be released just months after his Jan. 21, 2026 sentencing.
