UK psychiatrist Himanshu Ghadiali banned from practicing for assaults on three patients
October 4, 2007
October 4, 2007 the United Kingdom’s General Medical Council suspended the license of psychiatrist Himanshu Ghadiali while an investigation is carried out. The suspension effectively bans Dr. Ghadiali from practicing until March 16, 2009. Dr. Ghadiali was on trial in January 2003 for the indecent assaults of three female patients, subjecting them to “examinations” the Crown attorney charged, “went far beyond what he should have been doing in his capacity as a psychiatrist.” 1
