UK Psychiatrist Vijay Gaikwad Jailed 6 Years for Sexual Assaults of Patients

Vijay Gaikwad carried out bogus, unnecessary physical examinations on three women.

The 44-year-old, of St Catherine's Gardens, in Lane Head, Warrington, was convicted of three counts of sexual assault by a jury following a trial at Bolton Crown Court last month.

The offences occurred during medical appointments in Wigan, where he exploited his position of trust to inappropriately touch the victims.
