Texas psychologist disciplinary actions, August 2013

On August 15, 2013, the Texas Board of Examiners of Psychologists took the following disciplinary actions:
- Ordered psychologist Susan Gifford to pay an administrative penalty and obtain additional continuing education. Gifford advertised and unlicensed individual as a psychologist on her website.
- Ordered psychologist James Goggin to pay an administrative penalty and obtain additional continuing education for failure to utilize business practices in a manner that safeguards the privacy and confidentiality of patients and clients.
- Ordered psychologist Karen Gollaher to pay an administrative penalty and obtain additional continuing education for failure to report an administrative action against her to the Board.
- Ordered school psychologist Dana Griffin to pay and administrative penalty and obtain additional continuing education for providing psychological services outside of the public school setting.
- Ordered psychologist Edward Reitman to pay an administrative penalty for having given visitation recommendations without conducting a proper evaluation.
