State suspends social worker Marisha J. Hart license for sex with patient's guardian
October 11, 2013
On November 7, 2012, the North Carolina Social Work Certification & Licensure Board revoked clinical social worker Marisha J. Hart’s license for five years.
The Board’s document states that the Board received a complaint alleging that Hart was engaged in a dual relationship with guardian/aunt of a former client who was a minor.
The Board’s investigation substantiated that Hart provided services to the minor with active involvement from the person who filed the complaint and that Hart entered into a sexual relationship with the complainant.
