State suspends psychiatrist Lana Le Chabrier following fraud conviction
July 18, 2013
On March 22, 2013, the Washington Department of Health suspended indefinitely the license of psychiatrist Lana Le Chabrier.
This action follows disciplinary action taken on Le Chabrier by the licensing authority of California (where she resides).
On September 17, 2012, the Medical Board of California issued an Accusation against Le Chabrier, relative to her July 12, 2012 criminal conviction for health care fraud and conspiracy to commit health care fraud against the Medicare program, for which she was sentenced to six and a half years prison.
