State suspends psychiatrist Kenneth Spaulding for three years for sexual conduct with patient

The Missouri Division of Professional Registration (MDPR) placed psychiatrist Kenneth A. Spaulding’s license on suspension for three years, followed by ten years probation due to Spaulding engaging in improper relationships with patients.  Specifically, Spaulding engaged in phone sex and making other sexual advances toward a patient, according to the settlement agreement Spaulding reached with the MDPR, which also stated that he improperly embraced and kissed a female patient he was treating and asked her to send him a nude picture of herself by cell phone.
