State suspends psychiatrist's license for sex with patient
April 26, 2006
On April 26, 2006, the Maryland Board of Physicians suspended psychiatrist Abner Pasatiempo's license (#D45431) for five years with all but 18 months stayed. The Board found that he engaged in unprofessional conduct in the practice of medicine, failed to meet appropriate standards for quality medical care, and failed to keep adequate medical records, all relative to instigating a sexual/personal relationship with a patient.
