State seeks to discipline psychiatrist over care of patient who died
January 13, 2014
On November 13, 2013, the Medical Board of California issued an Accusation against psychiatrist James Roger Glover, seeking to suspend, revoke or otherwise discipline his license.
The Board’s document states that Glover committed gross negligence and repeated negligent acts in his treatment of a 26-year-old patient with a history of substance abuse and overdoses, who was found dead at home of an overdose while under Glover’s care.
Further, Glover failed to maintain adequate and accurate records on the patient.
