State revokes psychologist Kristina Lyhus' license for alcohol, sex with patient

On June 24, 2013, the Maryland Board of Examiners of Psychologists revoked the license of Kristina Lyhus. According to the Board’s document, Lyhus appeared at work after being on leave, smelling of alcohol and with an open container of beer; that she invited three patients to her apartment and had one of them purchase a bottle of vodka, which they then drank in her apartment; and engaging in sexual relations with and becoming engaged to one of the patients.
