State revokes psychiatrist Donna Lynn Flynn's (aka Donna Mareno) license
December 15, 2011
On September 30, 2011, the Medical Board of California revoked the license of psychiatrist Donna Lynn Flynn (aka Donna Mareno) for failing to respond to the Board’s request that she submit to a psychiatric evaluation.
On May 17, 2010 received a letter from Flynn’s brother, advising that a judge of the Ventura County Superior Court had ordered him to contact the Board and advise that it needed to assess Flynn’s mental competence.
The judge issued this order after witnessing Flynn’s demeanor and behavior during a May 13, 2010 hearing in a civil case involving Flynn and her family, from which she was forcibly removed due to her behavior and failure to answer the judge’s questions.
The family requested and received a restraining order against Flynn on the same day. According to court transcripts which make up an exhibit attached to the Board’s Order, her brother was seeking the restraining order due to the domestic violence against her father, whose house she had moved into.
His testimony makes mentions of Flynn engaging in acts of battery on family members and intimidation of others. His testimony also includes references to the dissolution of Flynn’s marriage, the loss of custody of her children, a suicide attempt and suicidal ideation, and Flynn “being heavily into prescription drugs.”

Good for her brother, he did the right thing.
