State revokes Medea Wood's psychologist license following criminal conviction

On October 3, 2013, the Indiana State Psychology Board revoked the license of psychologist Medea Laurel Woods following her May 10, 2013 guilty plea for felony theft and felony Medicaid fraud, for which she was sentenced to sentences of 545 days and six years, respectively, both of which were suspended. Woods was placed on probation and ordered to make restitution of $300,000 to the Medicaid program, as well as $2,500 in investigative costs to the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.
