State issues letter of reprimand on psychiatrist Robert D. Rosenberg after placing him on probation
May 21, 2013
On April 8, 2013, the Medical Board of California issued a public letter of reprimand on psychiatrist Robert D. Rosenberg for failure to properly evaluate the known symptoms and side effects from continuing to prescribe Adderall in the care and treatment of a patient and, in another case, for failure to document in the patient’s records attempts to contact collateral sources for information regarding a patient’s suicidal ideation.
The state placed Rosenberg’s license on probation for three years on February 22, 2013 on charges of self-prescription, dishonesty, violation of drug laws and failure to maintain adequate and accurate records.
