Social worker Vontina Hall loses license following conviction

On May 10, 2013, Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners revoked the license of clinical social worker Vontina Montez Hall. On or about July 27, 2012, Hall, who owned and operated two Baltimore mental health clinics, was convicted of Medicaid fraud for billing for psychotherapy services she never performed. She was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to pay $113,000 in restitution.
