Social worker Tyler Whitney surrenders license on charge of billing irregularities

On April 25, 2013, Tyler Whitney voluntarily relinquished his license to the Idaho Board of Psychologist Examiners.

The Board’s document states that it was alleged that in 2008 and 2009, that Whitney engaged in insurance billing irregularities with respect to ten patients, stemming from an audit which identified, among other things, billing for services which were not authorized; incorrectly coding for services provided and inadequately documenting services performed in the medical records.
