Psychologist Philip Nastasee agrees to not perform any custody evaluations
December 17, 2012
On December 17, 2012, the Pennsylvania Department of State accepted the agreement of psychologist Philip A. Nastasee that he will not perform any court-appointed or non-court-appointed child custody evaluations at any time following issuance of the Board of Psychology’s order in the matter. His license will also be placed on probation for no less than six months. Among other things, Nastasee failed to base the opinions contained in his report on information sufficient to substantiate his findings and failed to focus his custody evaluation on parenting attributes.
