Psychologist Michael Miran sentenced for Medicaid fraud

A Brighton couple, who pled guilty to Medicaid fraud charges, was sentenced today.

Doctor Michael Miran, a psychologist and doctor Esta Miran, who has her PHD in education, were sentenced to probation and ordered to pay $257,946 in restitution.

Michael Miran was given three years probation and must perform 100 hours of community service while his wife, Esta, was given five years probation and must perform 125 hours of community service.
