Psychologist Eric Lester Felsch arrested for having sex with a client for two years
January 29, 2018
Psychologist Eric Lester Felsch, 46, is accused of having sex with a client during and outside of therapy sessions for two years, between December 2011 and December 2013, and was arrested Saturday afternoon. Felsch has a private psychology practice in the St. Cloud, Minnesota area.
He will be in court Tuesday to face two charges of third-degree criminal sexual conduct. St. Cloud police started investigating Felsch in December. If convicted, Felsch could face up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to $30,000 for each charge.
The Minnesota Board of Psychology took disciplinary action against Felsch in 2014, following inappropriate interactions with two clients. In January 2013, Felsch acknowledged to the board that his communications with one client were improper and his physical contact with her inappropriate. Later that year, when the board reviewed his conduct with a second client, Felsch submitted to a mental health evaluation. Court documents did not indicate if the current victim is one of the clients from the board's disciplinary actions.
