Psychiatrist Syed Zubair Guilty of Professional Misconduct

Ireland’s Medical Council found psychiatrist Syed Zubair guilty of professional misconduct for violating an agreement not to practice medicine in the country.
Despite giving an undertaking in 2016 amid concerns about substance misuse while working at Roscommon University Hospital, Dr. Zubair later accepted a role with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in Donegal in 2019 without disclosing his restriction.
