Psychiatrist Saifullah Niazi suspended again

On August 29, 2013, the Virginia Board of Medicine summarily suspended the license of psychiatrist Saifullah K. Niazi.

The state’s document states that Niazi allowed unqualified employees, such as his administrative assistant, to see, observe and assess patient independently on a regular basis without Niazi being present or having only minimal contact with the patient.

The Virginia Medical Board suspended Niazi’s license for two years in 2006 for engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a patient.
