Psychiatrist Rosalia R. Dominguez suspended from practice in Tennessee and Pennsylvania

March 1, 2011

On October 8, 2010, the Pennsylvania Department of State suspended indefinitely the license of psychiatrist Rosalia Ramos Dominguez.  This action was based on disciplinary action taken against Dominguez by the state of Tennessee, where she also holds a license and most recently resided and practiced.  In February 2010, the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners reported that it had suspended Dominguez from practice “until certain terms and conditions are met.”  The basis for the Tennessee board’s action was that Dominguez “exhibited cognitive impairment while working.”
