November 13, 2013
On August 19, 2013, psychiatrist Robert Rosenberg surrendered his license to the New York OPMC, based on disciplinary action taken upon him in another state.
On February 22, 2013, the Medical Board of California placed Rosenberg's license on probation for three years with terms and conditions to settle the Board's Accusation of self-prescription, dishonesty, violation of drug laws and failure to maintain adequate and accurate records.
On April 8, 2013, California Board reprimanded Rosenberg for failure to properly evaluate the known symptoms and side effects from continuing to prescribe Adderall in the care and treatment of a patient and in another case, for failure to document in the patient’s records, attempts to contact collateral sources for information regarding a patient’s suicidal ideation.
