Psychiatrist Donald Stonefeld loses licenses in two states
October 11, 2013
On May 20, 2013, the Idaho State Board of Medicine summarily suspended the license of psychiatrist Donald F. Stonefeld.
This was a reciprocal action in response to disciplinary action taken against Stonefeld by the medical licensing authority of another state.
On May 15, 2013 the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board summarily suspended Stonefeld’s license for unprofessional conduct.
The Wisconsin Board’s document indicates that Stonefeld attempted to have a social and/or romantic relationship with a female patient whom he made inappropriate physical contact with and with whom he engaged in an exchange of text messages in which he asked for a picture of her, told her she was “much prettier now” and that he was wanted a “partner.”
