Pennsylvania psychiatrist Zhivko Daskalov surrenders license for sexual abuses
June 26, 2007
On June 26, 2007, psychiatrist Zhivko N. Daskalov permanently surrendered his license to the Pennsylvania Board of Medicine. This action was based on the following: In February of this year, the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts revoked Dr. Daskalov’s license for violating an earlier Settlement Agreement which prohibited him from examining patients without supervision. Additionally, he surrendered his license in the state of Kansas in 2006 for “acts or conduct…which would constitute grounds for disciplinary action…”; that he “engaged in acts of sexual abuse, misconduct, or exploitation” relative to his professional practice and that he “has the inability to practice with reasonable skill and safety to patients.” 1
