Ohio social worker disciplinary actions, May-November 2013

On May 16, 2013, the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board (“Board”) revoked the license of licensed social worker Gary Ritchie. The Board’s document contains findings that Ritchie sexually harassed a client.

May 29, 2013, social work assistant Pat Russell Campbell surrendered her licensed to Board for failure to comply with continuing education compliance; Campbell informed the Board that she is no longer practicing as a social work assistant.

On July 19, 2013, social worker Randy L. Harrington surrendered his license to the Board. Harrington was audited for compliance with continuing education requirements but informed the Board that he is no longer practicing social work.

On July 22, 2013, the Board revoked the licenses of the following social workers for failure to comply with the audit requirements for continuing education:

• Registered social worker Dawn R. Hartson
• Licensed social worker Stacy D. Scott
• Registered social worker Tia R. Toner
• Licensed social worker Maurice Winston
• Licensed social worker Jennifer L. Hosek

On August 5, 2013, social worker James A. Roman surrendered his license to the Board. Roman failed to comply with continuing education requirements.

On September 20, 2013, the Board revoked the license of social worker Jennifer R. Rizzo for failure to comply with the continuing education audit requirements.

On November 22, 2013, the Board revoked the license of licensed social worker Timothy A. Dycus, who was convicted on or about June 3, 2013 of two counts of Attempt to Commit Aggravated Arson.
