New York psychologist resigns after complaints of racial bias

Dr. Jay Supnick, the psychologist hired by the city of Buffalo, New York to do psychological exams for Buffalo Police and Fire applicants, has resigned following complaints of racial bias.
The Common Council recently supported a resolution to provide Supnick his 30-day termination notice after the city received a number of complaints accusing Supnick of asking inappropriate or racially-biased questions during his examinations.
Supnick submitted his resignation on Wednesday, March 7.
