New York psychiatrist's medical license revoked for gross negligence

Dr. Stanley Giudici, a psychiatrist in New York, had his medical license revoked by the New York Board for Professional Medical Conduct after being charged with "gross negligence," "negligence on more than one occassion" and "failing to maintain accurate patient medical records" for treating a pateint between January 2008 and October 2013.
According to the board, Giudici provided psychiatric treatment and precribed psychiatric drugs without adequately seeing the patient or keeping proper records. His license was previously put on probation in 2011 due to charges related to inappropriately prescribing opiates and benzodiazepines to three patients without providing proper care and treatment.
