Michigan psychologist charged with sexual assault
October 4, 2017
Michigan psychologist Joseph Alex Jeney, 64, has been charged with four counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct by a mental health professional after he had a relationship with a former patient.
The investigation stems from an "ongoing relationship" that lasted more than a month, said East Lansing Deputy Police Chief Steve Gonzalez.
The victim "had recently been a patient when the relationship began," he said. "The victim was seeing (Jeney) as a patient for mental health care reasons."
