Miami Psychologist Maria Rodriguez-Dowling Imprisoned and License Revoked for Health Care Fraud

On August 31, 2011, psychologist Maria Rodriguez-Dowling (aka Maria Carmen Rodriguez-Dowling, born 1966) was convicted of conspiracy to commit health care fraud and making false statements on Medicare claims.
She was sentenced to 12 months in federal prison to be followed by two years of supervised release and was additionally ordered to pay $200.00 in criminal monetary penalties.
The Florida Department of Health also revoked her psychologist's license on February 12, 2013, relative to her criminal conviction.
