Mental health counselor Stephen Pasion, charged by state board with patient sex, loses license

The Washington Department of Health Registered Counselor Program (DOH) revoked mental health counselor Stephen A. Pasion’s license. According to the DOH’s “Statement of Charges,” Mr. Pasion “had sexual intercourse…on multiple occasions” with a female patient who had been admitted to the crisis stabilization facility where Pasion was employed for anxiety and sleep deprivation. The DOH had served Pasion with the “Statement of Charges” and other documents, information of the charge and his right to a hearing but Pasion failed to respond to the DOH’s communication and thus his license was permanently revoked.
