Indiana psychologist guilty of felony obstruction of justice

Evansville, Indiana psychologist Doctor Albert Fink pleaded guilty to a felony obstruction of justice charge, having falsified records in criminal court cases; a theft charge was dropped. Fink was a court appointed doctor for hundreds of cases across Indiana but now has to surrender his professional licenses. One year ago this week, Indiana State Police said Fink intentionally crashed his car into a tree. He afterward admitted to authorities that he had falsified mental health reports. The 18-month jail sentence in a plea agreement was reduced to probation, plus he was fined $10,000.
