Florida revokes psychologist Jeanette Denisco's license
October 20, 2013
On November 2, 2012 the Florida Department of Health (DoH) revoked psychologist Jeanette Denicso's license to practice psychology.
The state's complaint against her cited criminal cases in which Denisco was arrested in 2007 for disorderly intoxication and trespass after warning (neither of which she was convicted of). According to the DoH's document, she was also arrested twice (in 2006 an 2007) for driving under the influence, for which she was convicted and placed under court-ordered probation.
Denisco failed to report her arrests and convictions to the DoH, as required.
The DoH determined that Denisco was unable to practice due to her substance abuse impairment.
