Florida psychiatrist suspended for sexual misconduct
October 3, 2017
According to an article in the Miami Herald:
"Dr. Ely Pelta, a Coral Springs [Florida] psychiatrist, was suspended from practicing medicine for six months by the Florida Board of Medicine in August as part of a settlement over sexual misconduct charges stemming from suggestive text messages he sent to a patient in May 2014. The Department of Health knew for years about similar charges made against Pelta by another patient in 2006, but could not discipline the doctor because the patient declined to testify against her psychiatrist. It is a crime in Florida for a psychiatrist to engage in a sexual relationship with a patient."
The text messages included telling her she needed a "sugar daddy" and that he wanted her to be his "sugar baby."

I wish you were closer to Miami where you move so far away you were and have been the best doctor out of all the doctors I've ever seen after you they have all been garbage and I've even threatened to sue this old man for harassing me and try to convince me over and over and over again for taking the covert shot. Once I say no one time that's it this other doctor Dr morman after the third time I told him if you tell me one more time to get the stupid poison I'm going to sue you a month later he resigned
