Counselor Stephanie Hight suspended for personal/intimate relationship with former client

On February 19, 2013, the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE) summarily suspended the license of professional counselor Stephanie Hight. The AZBBHE’s document states that in April 2005, Hight was suspended for 24 hours without pay for accessing sexually explicit content on her work computer. Further, it states that she entered into a personal relationship with a client and after the client was released from the agency; she engaged in an intimate relationship with him which last approximately six months. Lastly, it states that Hight was terminated from her position with another agency for engaging in an intimate relationship with a member of the agency’s staff.
