Colorado social work board restricts Adelia Tripp-Morris’ practice

According to an Order issued by the Colorado State Board of Social Work Examiners, from December 2003 to September 2004, licensed clinical social worker Adelia Tripp-Morris conducted penile plethysmographs (PPG, a procedure used on sex offenders which measures penile volume or circumference concurrent with the viewing of images or text intended to produce arousal) and that she made PPG reports “on the basis of defective findings.” Further, some of her PPG reports had deficient clinical documentation. Tripp-Morris no longer performs PPGs and will not do so in the future. The Board has therefore ordered that she cease and desist from the practice of PPG evaluation and from performing PPGs in the future.
