Colorado State University Psychologist Lee A. Rosen Gives Up License on Charge of Sexual Harassment

September 5, 2018

On September 4, 2018, Colorado State University psychologist Lee A. Rosen permanently relinquished his license to the Colorado State Board of Psychologist Examiners.

According to the Board’s Final Order in the matter, Rosen engaged in prohibited activities—a violation of Colorado law—and committed sexual harassment, engaged in exploitative relationships and other violations of APA Ethics:

  • In approximately October 2016, Rosen violated Colorado State University’s sexual harassment policy.
  • Rosen engaged in unwanted physical contact with students.
  • Rosen made sex- and gender-based comments toward students.

Though the Order notes that Rosen denies these allegations, it also states that he acknowledges that if the Board were to prove the allegations at a hearing, it would constitute violations which would subject Rosen to disciplinary action.
