Child Psychologist Kenneth Breslin Sentenced for Possessing Child Porn
May 29, 2018
Child psychologist Kenneth Allen Breslin was sentenced on Friday to 6½ years in prison for possessing child pornography and violating a court order to stop looking at child porn while awaiting trial, officials said.
Breslin possessed hundreds of child pornography images on several electronic devices and admitted he violated a magistrate’s order to avoid using a computer or accessing the internet while on bail. The court found that he used his mobile phone and laptop computer to view child porn images and used a thumb drive to possess them.
U.S District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers also ordered Breslin to 5 years of supervision after his release and approved an agreement for him to pay $85,000 in restitution to 13 victims and to register as a sex offender.
