December 1, 2007
In December 2007, the Arkansas Medical Board suspended psychiatrist Paul Jay Loop's license, pending a February 2008 hearing regarding revocation. Dr. Loop, who is/was licensed as well in Kansas and Oklahoma, was arrested in December for possession of crack cocaine. He had previously been terminated by Ashley County (Arkansas) Medical Center for drug abuse and his privileges to practice there were revoked.1
