California psychologist Sandra Portman surrenders license for sex with former patient

On February 9, 2007, psychologist Sandra M. Portman surrendered her license to state of California Board of Psychology with Ms. Portman's agreement to waive her right to renew the license or seek reinstatement in the state of California for at least three years. Ms. Portman was found to have committed unprofessional conduct and sexual misconduct for engaging in sexual activity with a former patient.1
