California psychologist Marilyn Windham loses license following criminal conviction

August 8, 2007

On August 8, 2007, the California Board of Psychology revoked Marilyn Windham's license to practice. Ms. Windham pleaded guilty December 12, 2006 to a felony charge of engaging in sex with an inmate of Folsom Prison, where she was formerly employed. Court documents show a prison guard discovered Ms. Windham partially nude and "in a compromising position" with an inmate in one of the prison's clinics. Windham resigned about a month after the incident. She was sentenced February 9, 2007 to 90 days in prison and three years probation. 1
