California psychiatrist's license suspended over antipsychotic incident
March 21, 2018
Psychiatrist Dr. John Namala Samuel Rajaratnam had his license suspended in California essentially because he had directed a former patient in Maryland to share her prescription of an antipsychotic drug with her minor son.
His license in Maryland was previously revoked because he failed to meet with a psychiatrist the Maryland State Board of Physicians had referred him to see as part of the disciplinary action for the antipsychotic incident.
